ROLE OVERVIEW: We are seeking a seasoned Production Supervisor to lead a team of hourly colleagues on our brand-new state-of-the-art BGM/Corrugated Converting Machine. You must have experience as a Supervisor in a Corrugated manufacturing facility, preferably leading a team on a Corrugated Converting machine.

Shift Hours - Night (6 PM -6 AM)

Shift Schedule - Days Off and On rotate each week, 2-2-3, per the following pattern: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, etc.

Responsibilities typically include evaluating team members to achieve operational results and making staffing decisions. Ensures policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed.  

Key Responsibilities: You must have experience as a Supervisor in a Corrugated manufacturing facility, preferably leading a team on a Corrugated Converting machine.

• Supervises the day to day activities of a smaller, less complex and/or single line production operation and monitors colleague productivity.
• Effectively implements new performance management systems, production plans and performance criteria. Runs shift meetings, confirms production progress and responds to delays. Creates and implements group improvement plans.
• Ensures team understands roles and responsibilities as it relates to the team and to Greif.
• Encourages joint problem solving, personal safety, and individual development.
• Supports Greif mission, follows values of Greif and works to better Greif’s business as a whole.
• Implements and enforces compliance with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Monitors work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Troubleshoots issues that arise.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience, with experience leading colleagues.

Knowledge and Skills

• In-depth understanding of production operation and processes.
• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $78,100.00 - $133,100.00. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $90,000.00 to $95,000.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
