Assistant Hatchery Manager

About the role
- Assist in managing all operations within the facility, including, but not limited to: management of persons, eggs and equipment.
- Assist in managing and coordinating hatchery activities (i.e. egg pickup and delivery, care of eggs, incubation and hatching, grading, vaccination, preparation and shipment of chicks).
- Ensure adherance to Company, Safety, and Animal Welfare policies and procedures.
- Assist in management of animal welfare program.
- Assist in managing daily deliveries, and ensuring adherence to DOT requirements and safety procedures.
- All other relevant duties to the job.
- Bachelor Degree in Poultry, Animal Science or other closely related field
- 4+ years hatchery management or leadership experience
- Proficient knowledge of technology and computers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail
