Job Summary

Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking a Maintenance Technician to support 6 apartment buildings in the South Hill property group in Pittsburgh! This includes Apartments on Academy, Brentwood Towne, Fallowfield Apartments, Lofts at Terrain, and  Pendale Towers (all in Pittsburgh) and Central Square (Mt Lebanon). 

Pay and Benefits

• $24-27/hour, commensurate with experience
• Mileage reimbursement

• Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule

Responsibilities

• Turnovers/make-readies
• Repairs such as drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC
• Preventative maintenance
• Groundskeeping as needed
• Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Requirements

• Well-rounded skill set in building maintenance
• Receive and document tasks digitally
• Eligible to work in the United States 
• Valid driver’s license
• Insured vehicle
• Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
• Safely utilize power tools
• Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases
