Project Overview:

Bechtel is partnering with NextDecade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas.

RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984-acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth. At full capacity, the five-train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).

 

Job Summary:

Performs schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery plan development activities for Proposal, FEED or EPC project schedules for the Rio Grande Liquefaction Program. Supports project organizational and administrative activities. Conduct development and integration of individual discipline schedules into the total project plan. Develops and maintains project progress reporting. Performs schedule resource loading and leveling.

Major Responsibilities:

• Primarily Engineering and Procurement planning duties will be required.
• Perform and/or coordinate, collect, verify, and integrate the work scope for all entities into the total project plan.
• Reviews the representation of project scope in schedules.
• Establishes the conceptual scope of schedule studies.
• Prepares and analyzes comparisons of scope, quantities between the projects.
• Performs productivity analysis of construction operations and verifies.
• Establishes milestones for the total project or major portions of the project.
• Reviews project work activities to ensure support of project milestones.
• Coordinates the timely, systematic, and complete acquisition of scope definition and related data.
• Supports initial development and maintenance of Engineering Progress and Performance Reporting (EPPR) and associated analysis/curves.
• Supports initial development and maintenance of Procurement Valuation System (PVS) and associated analysis/curves.
• Supports initial development and maintenance of Subcontract Valuation System (SCVS) and associated analysis/curves.
