The Opportunity:

 

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will analyze processes, elicit requirements from business and IT users, and support the transition to cloud development. You will contribute to modernization efforts across Technology and the Portfolio Management Group (PMG) with high partner visibility and exposure to many lines of business. You will work in the wealth management field, and have a supportive, team-based environment. You will report to an Application Development Team Leader.

 

The Day-to-Day:

• Work in Financial Services space, mainly in the Asset /Wealth /Investment Management Area, perform requirement elicitation and present deliverables (including logic flow charts and process diagrams, User Stories, API specifications, File specifications [csv, JSON, other types] and Business Rules)
• Work with different asset classes, trading platforms, understand the current ecosystem that includes FI core and various external systems and their interactions including workflows, data exchange formats/schemas and APIs
• Work with product platforms such as CRD, Eagle, ETL tools and mature into a domain expert to understand how PMG fits within the larger Fisher Technology ecosystem
• Use Agile methodologies to drive requirements management lifecycle which includes capturing business flows and data management
• Guide activities throughout the SDLC process (including idea intake, requirement development, bug assessment, UAT, and change management)
• Capture non-functional aspects of the business capabilities including SLAs. Establish and own critical KPIs to measure performance
• Review complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models against the Requirements
• Review ADF pipelines to independently analyze the Data transformations between Ingress and Egress and verify against the our requirements
• Develop relationships with partners across the enterprise (including those involved with Business Analysis, Process Optimization, Training, Risk Management, Information Security, Regulatory Compliance, Data and Infrastructure)

Your Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or Systems Analyst supporting a software application development organization
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation:

• $120,000 - $155,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience.
• Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
