About the role

• Sunco Lighting Inc. is looking for an efficient and meticulous Quality Control Manager to join our Product Team! This individual will be an essential part of the company to ensure quality and safety across all Sunco products.  

What you'll do

Job Responsibilities: 

• Execute functional and visual product test plans on incoming POs
• Document instructions to reproduce issues caused by manufacturing defects. 
• Record and organize inspection yield data to assist in production yield improvements. 
• Function and visual inspection of customer-returned merchandise and across all stages of production. 
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards 
• Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency and efficiently

 Requirements/Qualifications: 

• Solid understanding of test equipment 
• Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience 
• Expirience leading a team is mandatory 
  
  Exposure to quality systems
  Background in lighting or electronics is a must
  Willingness to travel (GA + China) - TBD how often 
  RMA - retesting goods. Needs to have experience in building out RMA processes 
• Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions 
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally 
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information.

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt 

Compensation: $80,000 per year
