Raytheon is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Material Program Management (MPM) in support of Depot and Maintenance operations for key Naval Programs.  This role will be based out of Tucson, Arizona.  This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain needs for these programs that support a broad customer base.  In this role you will help shape the strategy for the support network of critical missile programs acting as the critical link between Supply Chain and other cross functional counterpart functions.
 

Your responsibilities will include creating and executing comprehensive Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure seamless execution throughout all phases of the program lifecycle. You will provide informed Supply Chain Management (SCM) recommendations to Program Leadership, addressing areas such as risk mitigation, procurement methods, material strategies, and supplier management as well as contributing to material forecasts and EAC’s. To be successful, the candidate must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute Material Program & Subcontract Management Plans
  • Plan and collaborate on sourcing decisions with key stakeholders and support the Make/Buy/Where process
  • Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (Flow Down Attachment) and/or Modifications (TCMs)
  • Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
  • Active engagement and taking the lead on the Material content for proposal activities
  • Ensure Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management supports the overall factory and program needs.
  • Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance. 
  • Financial management tasks for the material content of the program (Material Sales, EAC, Earned Value) 
  • Proactively monitor and address performance metrics (cost, schedule, quality) to ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Work between adjacent programs to maximize efficiency and to identify opportunities for commonality between programs.
  • Willingness to travel as required

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 7 years experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and/or Power Point)
  • Experience in supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and/or finance
  • Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with SAP/PRISM and the Supply Chain suite of tools
  • Experience with PDM and Engineering applications
  • Experience managing technical requirements to a schedule and budget
  • Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management
