Guidehouse supports Energy Provider and State and Local government clients to design, plan, and implement programs. In our Industry Solutions Program Design and Implementation Team. Our team is passionate about delivering programs and innovation to solve our client's most pressing problems and make an impact with customers and residents served by utility, local and state programs.

What You Will Do:

This position will be responsible for:

  • Leading teams on federal grant management projects for state and local government clients
  • Supporting the design and implementation of federal, state and utility program, including strategic planning, financial management, compliance and monitoring, data analytics and reporting, and closeout
  • Coordinating with client and project teams to develop innovate solutions to address client priorities and needs
  • Providing guidance on the implementation of program platforms, technical tools and solutions
  • Supporting clients with technical assistance and training on grant management topics
  • Delivering knowledge on national trends and industry best practices
  • Supporting business development strategy and supporting or driving the growth of opportunities, working in coordination with multiple Guidehouse teams.


What You Will Need:

  • Due to nature of client engagements, must either be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, engineering or related disciple from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of 10 (TEN) years of experience in management consulting excluding healthcare, pharmaceuticals, banking and financial services
  • Experience with customer facing programs such as energy efficiency, renewable and electric vehicle
  • Experience with program design
  • Experience with project management capabilities
  • Experience working with utility and state and local government clients
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to meet project milestones and delivery schedules
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and communicate regularly with project leadership and client points of contact
  • Strong ability to pursue success through collaboration with teams
  • Ability to travel
