($71,950/yr. - $88,549/yr.) School-Based (Portland location) ** 10-month position that follows the PPS academic calendar.
Community-Based

Position Summary:Morrison Child & Family Services is immediately hiring mental health therapists to join our outpatient teams!The Outpatient Mental Health Therapist position provides mental health treatment services for youth, ages 2-18, and their families. The position is in-person, but clients can receive services in-person or via telehealth. Therapists work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and their clients may also access skills training, case management, SUD treatment services, and medication management. The therapist’s caseload size is dependent on their program (clinic, community-based, or school-based) and on each of their clients’ level of need (level of care) and engagement. The community-based position provides short-term (typically 6-8 months) intensive mental health services for youth and families experiencing acute behavioral health and crisis support needs. This position includes an on-call crisis line rotation, and therapists receive a stipend for each week they are on-call. Duties and Responsibilities

Provides mental health services for youth, ages 2-18, and their families: assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, and family therapy.
Provides case management, crisis support, safety planning, coordination of care, referrals to ancillary and/or specialty services, and group therapy, as needed.
Completes all clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal and organizational requirements, emphasizing collaborative documentation.
Abides by the appropriate code of ethics and follows all of Morrison’s policies and procedures.

Is present and punctual for work, supervision and/or meetings. Works well within a team environment, sharing workload, credit, and opportunities.
Completes other duties as assigned to ensure successful operation of program or department.
Demonstrate a commitment to developing a thorough knowledge and application of the Sanctuary model and other organizational policies & practices.
