The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading integrated automated material handling projects across North America. This role oversees the administrative, contractual, technical, and financial components of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance with performance specifications, and adherence to established schedules and budgets. The Senior Project Manager leads cross-functional teams, manages subcontractor coordination, and maintains accountability for overall project delivery, risk management, and financial outcomes.

 

Your role in our team 

  • You will manage all aspects of assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder communication
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams and subcontractors, establishing priorities and resolving conflicts as needed 
  • Ensure system designs meet all contractual and technical requirements 
  • You will develop, maintain, and control the project master schedule, ensuring timely project completion
  • Monitor and report project progress on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and project participants. 
  • You will manage risk throughout the project lifecycle and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the project budget, with the objective of delivering results within or below financial targets 
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering cross-department collaboration and team development
  • You will perform additional duties as required to support project execution and organizational objectives

 

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical field; equivalent industry experience may be considered
  • You have 5 - 8+ years of project management experience with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity in automation, parcel, warehouse, or similar industries
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects exceeding $10–$15 million in value
  • Your experience working within international or cross-functional team environments is preferred 
  • Strong project planning and execution skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in subcontractor coordination and vendor relationship management
  • Capable of managing diverse stakeholder groups in complex environments 
  • You possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities 
  • High level of organizational skill with attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills 
  • You are proficient in project scheduling tools and familiar with ERP/project management systems
  • You are able to travel up to 50% or as required based on project demands. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certification is preferred 
  • Experience managing cross-functional or remote teams
  • You are familiar with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting 
  • May require extended hours during critical project phases.

  • Your annual base pay range for this role is estimated to be $150,000 - $180,000 at the time of posting.
