Position Summary

Designs, develops, and implements digital solutions and systems by leveraging advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications. This includes conducting system testing and debugging, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the overall technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects.

• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Expertise in building server-side applications using modern technologies such as Node.js and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in implementing robust testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, using modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., Redis, OpenSearch), with strong skills in data modeling, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
• Proven ability to analyze complex technical challenges, identify root causes, and deliver effective, scalable solutions within tight deadlines.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), with experience in deploying and managing distributed systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and monitoring/logging solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including designing and delivering scalable systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks, such as Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities, fostering effective communication across cross-functional teams.
• Proven expertise in planning, executing, and delivering software solutions, with a focus on meeting deadlines and business objectives.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing Microservices and Serverless Architectures for scalable and efficient systems.
• Proficiency in leveraging modern open-source frameworks and tools to build robust and high-performing applications.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

• Extensive experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with a proven track record of participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver high-quality software.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and shared ownership.
• Expertise in designing and building scalable RESTful APIs using modern frameworks like Express.js, with a focus on middleware, routing, and performance optimization.
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms with hands-on experience deploying and managing microservices architectures. Special expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, and OpenSearch.
