Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician 5 (Quality) – Full Time – Enid, OK 73701

This facility operates five days a week with potential for overtime and produces raw and fully cooked meat products.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting, and calculating results accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
• Good problem identification and problem-solving skills, math, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications
• Must possess basic computer knowledge, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be able and willing to stand/walk 8 to 12 hours a day on hard surfaces.
• Must be able and willing to crouch, squat, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally crawl.
• Must be able and willing to repetitively lift (occasionally overhead), push, pull, and carry 60 pounds individually and more with assistance.
• Must be able and willing to repetitively grasp, reach, pinch, and hold small, medium, and large sized objects repetitively.
• Must be able and willing to work in cold and/or hot, humid, wet, environments. 
• Candidate must be able to work overtime and weekends. 
• Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.

WORKING HOURS (Monday through Friday 4pm until finish. Weekends as needed)

INTERNAL REQUIREMENTS:

• No more than three points at the time of job posting
• No more than one write up at the time of job posting in the last 6 months
• No suspensions at the time of job posting in the last 6 months
• Resume required

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
