CORA is currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work in non-public schools throughout the city of Philadelphia, providing Act 89 funded support services.

Working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with CORA, you will:

Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR), the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) assists with occupational therapy services by completing a variety of tasks such as activities designed by OTR. Responsibilities include:  

  •   Implement individual and group intervention programs for students as designed by certified staff 
  •   Document sessions and progress monitoring towards student goals.  
  •   Collaborate with OTR and school teams to implement classroom-based activities.  
  •   With guidance from the OTR provide modification of lessons to meet students’ needs and progress 
  •   Assisting OTR with screenings  
  •   Communicating student needs to OTR to insure student progress towards goals. 

 Minimum Requirements:  

  • Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy 
  • 1-2 years experience, ideally in a school-setting, preferred 
  • Licensed in Pennsylvania 

Salary: $49,679 with Associates Degree $52,601 with Bachelors Degree

*Salary commensurate with additonal credentials and experience
