Senior Data Scientist

<p>On behalf of our client, an innovative company providing AI services, we are currently looking for a knowledgeable Senior Data Scientist to join its data analytics team.</p><p><strong>A day in the life of a ‘Data Scientist’</strong></p><p>As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate with a team of data scientists, data- engineers, machine-learning engineers and software engineers with the primary goal to maintain and utilize data assets.</p><p><strong>Your day-to-day</strong></p><ul> <li>Set a vision and provide day-to-day guidance, supervision, and mentorship for a team of individual contributors</li> <li>Provide strategic and technical input for data science roadmap and data architecture</li> <li>Focus on the implementation and orchestration for scalable and resilient data engineering pipelines</li> <li>Contribute to ML engineering research, design, and implementation of best practices</li> <li>Work with ML engineering deployments across the ML lifecycle including model training, monitoring, and retraining</li> <li>Actively contribute to source code, perform code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent</li> <li>5+ years working experience in a similar senior position</li> <li>Strong hands-on skills in software engineering (e.g. Python)</li> <li>Experience in Machine Learning methodologies (e.g. supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, natural language processing)</li> <li>Experience with Spark or similar Big Data Frameworks</li> <li>Prior experience using Data Streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming)</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Database Systems and Data Modeling (RDBMS/NoSQL/Time Series)</li> </ul><p><strong>Great to have</strong></p><ul> <li>Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and containerization concepts</li> <li>Familiarity with an Agile Development Methodology (Scrum)</li> </ul><p><strong>We love your personality if you</strong> </p><ul> <li>have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills</li> <li>contribute to a positive team environment</li> <li>fully understand software engineering concepts and procedures</li> <li>demonstrate strong technical writing skills</li> <li>are organized and methodical</li> <li>enjoy obtaining new knowledge</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>You will be a part of an innovative environment, where you will be able to gain more knowledge in new technologies and take the next step in your career.
