Location:
New York, NYWe are seeking a Senior Brand Partnerships Manager to join our team, entrusted with the task of sourcing top-tier brands and products to elevate our business. In this role, you will oversee the acquisition of new, compelling brands and products while fostering enduring relationships with existing brands.
This hybrid role is located in our New York City, NY office (not fully remote). Reporting directly to the Director of Brand Partnerships, this position will have one direct report.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively generate leads, champion the value proposition of the Allure Beauty Box, and actively contribute to business planning.
Foster and sustain relationships with key brands, aiding them in achieving their goals while formulating a sustainable, long-term business strategy for consistent campaigns.
Discover emerging brands and trending products, securing exclusive items and presenting them internally for potential inclusion in upcoming campaigns.
Negotiate competitive costs, contract terms, and product offerings to fortify the overall growth strategy.
Continuously educate brands about the latest product offerings from Allure Beauty Box.
Serve as the internal brand ambassador, contributing to defining the brand's vision, goals, and positioning in Allure Beauty Box campaigns.
Recognize prevalent brand preferences during the curation process to assist in the development of future initiatives.
Attend industry and company events, and engage in marketing production as necessary.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years' experience in account management, buying, or merchandising within the beauty industry.
Demonstrated analytical and business-oriented approach to meet financial targets.
Proficient in negotiating with vendors and brands to secure optimal costs.
Exceptionally organized and goal-driven, adept at managing competing priorities and accounts.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, externally with contacts and internally with team members and leadership.
Comfortable presenting to both external and internal clients, consistently achieving monthly goals.
Self-directed work style with a strong inclination towards collaboration, urgency, creativity, and results.
1-3 years of management experience.
Bachelor's degree.
Passion for the beauty industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in marketing within the beauty industry.
Experience in merchandising/buying within the beauty industry.
Existing relationships with brands in the industry.
Base Salary: $70,000 - $124,000
