Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Planner for Compensation Programs with expertise in analytics and financial modelling skills. This role is responsible for the planning, coordination and management for strategic initiatives. This is a short term 3–6-month, remote consulting project. All qualified candidates MUST be authorized in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial models to provide options and recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data.
  • Pull applicable compensation data for analysis and modelling.
  • Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement.
  • Must be comfortable with formal Agile methodologies and tools and able to manage scrum teams
  • Define project scope and project schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value provided
  • Organize and lead project status meetings regarding updates, insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Prepare and distribute progress reports, manage and mitigate risks and issues, correct deviations and perform delivery planning for assigned projects
  • Assist in team development and hold team members accountable for commitments, assisting with the removal of any roadblocks/impediments
  • Mentoring and/or coaching team members in a cross functional matrixed environment
  • Support the Product Owner in managing expectations and priorities of the project deliverables.
  • Support the Product Owner in stakeholder communication and helping implement and effective system of project governance and structure

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to work with others in teams on complex problems or assignments where multiple approaches may be needed for success.


Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, Computer Science or another quantitative field is required.
  • Any Financial certifications a plus
  • PMP or Scrum Master certifications are preferred.
