The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on a Sr. Consultant, Partner Integration & Management to our Retirement Plan Services/Workplace Solutions business to work in a Lincoln office and/or remotely. Lincoln is expanding our portfolio of API Integrations with key payroll and advisory service providers in our Retirement Plan Services business to continue to drive innovation and growth. In this role, you will drive the strategy and roadmap around our Partner Integrations, working closely with key internal stakeholders like IT and operations, as well as directly with our external payroll and advisory partners. You will play a key role toward future innovation and technical transformation by working with an agile IT team and with our retirement business partners while connecting with key industry partners. 
 

What you'll be doing

  • Manages the product integration roadmaps for product offering(s), integrating the product strategy, inclusive of timelines, risks, and dependencies
  • Balances stakeholder priorities and IT development team(s) capacity in order to aid in achievable roadmap and delivery targets
  • Collaborates with internal & external stakeholder to develop, implement, and assess sales & marketing programs that attract key partners and enable distribution partners to drive account growth & retention
  • Organizes and facilitates meetings and events with key external partners; attends meetings/events as needed to ensure successful engagements; promptly follows up to research questions and resolve issues
  • Reviews external partnerships on ongoing basis for progress and deliverables toward partnership agreement and business objectives; recommends approach changes as needed
  • Collaborates with senior internal stakeholders to develop annual business plans, offerings, and programs for key partners that will enhance sales and growth initiatives
     

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

  • 5 – 7+ Years of Retirement Planning Services/defined contribution experience including 1 or more of the following: payroll integrations, relationship management, agile development experience directly aligned to the specific responsibilities of this role
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • Experience working with agile development teams
  • Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches  

 

Nice-to-haves:  

  • Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst 
  • Experience with API integrations and/or payroll integrations 
  • Experience writing Epics and Features 
  • Experience in partner management 
  • Experience negotiating and aligning roadmap timelines with external partners to meet mutually agreed on dates and objectives
