VERSES is hiring a Sr. Full Stack Engineer to help build and deploy products and solutions. You will work closely with our VP of Engineering and teams and have a significant impact on the product development roadmap. This role is focused on xxxxxx.

You will report to our VP of Engineering.

Requirements

Essential Functions - a/k/a Your Mission

• Generate recyclable code libraries
• Follow security design principles
• Attend regular meetings with the front end team to synchronize form and function
• Inspect server code for speed optimization
• Conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage
• Employ UX best practices in all front end applications
• Maintain a stable server with 99.9% uptime
• Validate code in staging or pre-production environment
• Perform graph-based analysis
• Data structures and storage optimization
• Write technical documentation
• Other activities as directed by management

Great to Haves

Who You Are… [we aren’t looking for perfect…even if you bring some of these things to the table, go ahead and apply!]

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related field or equivalent experience - required
• 10+ years experience in full stack development - preferred
• Experience bringing multiple commercial products to market
• Experience in Node frameworks, Docker, rest APIs
• Experience with programming languages such as Typescript, NodeJS, Python
• Comfortability with learning any new language required
• Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j and ArangoDB
• Knowledge of Information Security principles as applied to Graph DBs
• Experience working with multiple platforms such as Desktop, Mobile, Tablet
• Experience working with AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache), and UI/UX design
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• If you have experience with .NET, but have also worked with other backend languages, please do apply
• Basically, if you have backend software experience and consider yourself more of a "generalist", this would be a great place for you!

Even better...

• Experience with Hyperledger-based frameworks, in particular, Indy and Aries
• Experience with message schedulers such as zeroMQ
• Experience with frontend tools like React
• Experience using messaging platforms such as NATS
• Experience with Golang and Rust is a plus
