Compensation includes a base salary of $87,200.00 - $130,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Purpose         

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects that span multiple departments and functions within the Tools Experience and Enablement organization. This role requires advanced project management skills, financial acumen, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to drive strategic initiatives to successful completion. The Senior Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage high-impact, complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Conduct regular status meetings to review project health and progress.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that align with organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage and communicate effectively with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure project alignment and support. This includes providing status reports, data visualization, and storytelling of project and category activity.
  • Risk Management: Identify project issues and risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address them to minimize impact.
  • Change Management: Identify, plan, and manage required change activities and readiness.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate and allocate resources across multiple projects, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • Budget Management: Track and monitor spending in relation to project milestones.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor project and portfolio performance using appropriate tools, data, and techniques, ensuring timely delivery and quality of deliverables.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance project management practices and outcomes.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Business, Engineering, Project Management)  and 4 years of  related experience.  The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; or in lieu of a degree, 8 years’ experience in a related field.
  • 3 years of project management experience with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in office and project management software and tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Project).
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously and work under pressure.

Preferred

  • Experience in telecommunications industry
  • Data Visualization experience (e.g., Tableau, Excel)
  • Scaled Agile Experience
