To learn more about Pearce visit <a href="http://www.pearce-services.com">http://www.pearce-services.com</a>.</p></div><h3><strong>Your Impact:</strong><strong> </strong></h3> <p>Pearce from CBRE is seeking an <strong>Experienced Critical Power Field Technician (UPS Field Service Engineer)</strong> to support customers throughout <strong>Newark, NJ,</strong> <strong>and the surrounding region.</strong> This position provides preventive maintenance, emergency service, commissioning support, and battery services on UPS systems, DC power systems, battery plants, PDUs, and static transfer switches in mission-critical environments including data centers, telecommunications facilities, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites. Success in this role requires strong electrical troubleshooting skills, sound technical judgment, and the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service. You will be expected to safely diagnose complex power system issues, restore equipment to operational status, and build long-term customer confidence through professionalism and technical expertise.</p> <h3><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <p>• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on UPS systems, battery plants, DC power systems, PDUs, STS units, inverters, and related critical power equipment.</p> <p>• Diagnose electrical and control system faults using schematics, test equipment, manufacturer documentation, and industry best practices.</p> <p>• Install, commission, and replace UPS systems, battery strings, battery monitoring systems, maintenance bypass equipment, and associated power infrastructure.</p> <p>• Respond to emergency service calls and restore customer systems to operational status while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.</p> <p>• Perform battery testing, capacity testing, failure an
