Project Manager - Engineering - Hybrid

Work on-site 3 days per week in Valley City, OH

 The Job:   

As a Project Engineer, you’ll be part of our Outdoor team working as a hybrid employee.  You’ll get to:    

• Responsible for all aspects of the Product Development Milestone Phase/Gate Process from New Product Introduction to Project Completion. This includes such items as Timeliness, Cost, Quality, Performance, Risk, etc.
• Manage and coordinate all projects in Alignment with Portfolio.
• Provides coaching and development to others on process and project management skills, including Core team, etc.
• Establishes, Coordinates, Maintains Timely Information, and Directs Project Programs to Meet Timelines and Defined Project Goals.
• Monitor and Manage Scope Changes.
• Assess Program risks relating to Timeline, Feasibility, Cost, etc., and Implement Sound Practices to Reduce/ Eliminate those Risks through Mitigation and Planning.
• Capacity Management and Prioritization of Resources Required to Meet Time, Cost, and Requirements.
• Develop and Execute Effective Communications Programs Promoting Team Involvement and Decision Making and Ensuring Critical Employee Relationships are Positively Maintained.
• Maintain Effective Working Relationships/ Communications with Key Support Functions; Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Sales, Marketing.

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Engineering, The Physical Sciences, Business, Finance, or Marketing.
• 5+ years of Project and/or Program Management Experience or a combination of Project Engineering Experience.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques.
• Cross-cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills required.
