Position Summary:Join ASPiRE! as a Registered Nurse - Health Care Supervisor, where you will be a key contributor to assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care to meet the diverse needs of individuals in our program. Your role will ensure the highest standards of quality care, while advocating for the optimal health of program participants.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Assistant Vice President to develop and implement medical policies and procedures.
- Provide direct care, training, and support to both staff and participants.
- Coordinate medical services with participants' physicians and families.
- Administer and document medications, provide first aid, and oversee emergency care.
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance.
- Oversee the development of Individual Support Plans and ensure compliance with medical documentation.
- Assist in case record reviews and provide training for new staff on medical procedures.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team activities and foster individual growth through respectful, culturally appropriate care.
Qualifications
- Registered Nursing License (RN) required
- 1–3 years of experience in a related field
- Standard Driver’s License (Class C or D)
- Experience in a program for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
