Job Summary

 

The Solutions Operations Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Solutions Operations projects and sub-projects to include ancillary scoping, budgeting and facilitation from initiation to completion. The role manages project team members, business stakeholders and partner resources to achieve project objectives and deliver projects on time, to quality and within budget. The position can work from anywhere in the Eastern Time Zone (EST).

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Assist with defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Assemble and lead project teams, including assigning tasks and responsibilities. Allocate and manage project resources effectively.

  • Oversee the execution of Solutions Operations projects according to the project plan. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage project risks. Ensure that projects are delivered within scope, budget, and schedule, and Service Level Agreement (SLA).

  • Schedule and conduct meetings with project stakeholders to communicate project health, assign actions to team members as necessary, communicate risks and document meeting outcomes.

  • Maintain regular communication outside of meetings with project stakeholders, including business units, senior leaders, and external partners. Provide project updates, status reports, and presentations as required. Manage stakeholder expectations and address issues promptly.

  • Ensure that project deliverables meet established quality standards. Implement regular cadence for retrospectives to document best practices and make necessary process changes to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Management of external vendor(s) to ensure timeline delivery of agreed scope to acceptable quality standards.

  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control. Prepare financial reports and forecasts for projects. Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, or related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in managing multiple and diverse projects (full project management life cycle) in a high-volume/fast paced environment.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, time management and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge standard business processes and frameworks

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships as well as relationships with external vendors.

  • Understanding of Salesforce.com is preferred
