We focus on finding solutions that simplify the lives of commercial mobility companies.</p><p>Our vision is to democratize the on-road mobility industry by creating sustainable financial &amp; technological solutions for the benefit of our industry, society and the environment.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The General Ledger (GL) Senior Accountant is one of the key roles within the Financial Accounting team responsible for delivering month-end accounting entries that impacts Balance Sheets and P&amp;L. The GL Senior Accountant is responsible for booking, review and completion of journal entries, analysis and accuracy of BS reconciliations, solving other relevant accounting issues in compliance with local legislation, and supervising less experienced accountants.</p><ul><li>Perform monthly closing activities for assigned locations (accruals, deferrals, FX revaluations, intercompany)</li><li>Balance sheet reconciliations</li><li>Administration of VAT returns and other reporting to local tax authorities</li><li>Cooperate with internal and external auditors</li><li>Participating in diverse projects in order to provide an expertise</li><li>Engage in process improvement initiatives</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Accounting experience is an advantage</li><li>Accounting education</li><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail</li><li>English and Czech on communicative level</li><li>Be Team Player and supportive</li><li>Ability to set priorities and work under time pressure with can-do attitude.</li><li>MS Office skills, advanced level in MS Excel</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>WHY JOIN US?</strong></p><p>EW is diverse, disruptive and still evolving; we choose newcomers not only by skill but also whether they can be real colleagues through shared values.
