Opportunity Overview:

Senior BWR Refuel Floor Instructor - 6-month Contract – based in Chattanooga, Tennessee

 

Westinghouse/WECTEC Staffing is looking for a Senior BWR Refuel Floor Instructor to develop instructional materials and conduct training for Refuel Operations at Tennessee Valley Authority sites.

 

What your day-to-day looks like:  

 

• Develop instructional materials and conduct training for Refuel Operations at Tennessee Valley Authority Sites.
• Develop and deliver training on the most complex topics
• Responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, delivering and evaluating training in the classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job.
• Responsible for maintaining training programs in accordance with nuclear industry, regulatory, institutions, and legal requirements.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

What we need to see from you:

 

• A candidate for this position should have in-depth knowledge of refuel operations and equipment for which he or she will develop and deliver training.
• 10 + years’ experience in a similar role is required
• Experience providing instruction in the nuclear industry is required
• Ability to obtain/maintain “Unescorted Access” status.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required
