Nemours is seeking a Project Services Specialist, Marketing and Digital to join our Nemours Children’s Health team in Jacksonville, FL.
As a Project Services Specialist at Nemours Children’s Health, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across our health system. Working closely with project requestors and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the coordination, documentation, and monitoring of project activities to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. This position will be part of the Nemours Creative Solutions team working within Marketing Communications and facilitating design, content, video, and digital development projects.
Essential Functions
1. Act as the primary point of contact for project requestors, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
2. Collaborate with Scrum Master and creative teams to establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
3. Own supporting management tasks when projects are led by 3rd party teams.
4. Build and manage a project charter and plan, ensuring various workstreams remain on track and target dates are met for key milestones.
5. Utilize the Jira platform to document and track project requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of project deliverables.
7. May monitor project budgets and resources, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
8. Schedule and participate in project meetings, workshops, and reviews to provide updates, insights, and recommendations.
9. Assist in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks and deviations from project plans.
10. Communicate project statuses, updates, and decisions to relevant stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
11. Manage key User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, ensuring the feedback loop is completed successfully.
12. Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and managing expectations.
13. Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement lessons learned.
Non-Essential Functions
- Proven experience as a Digital Project Manager, specifically in managing website projects.
- Strong understanding of web development processes and technologies.
- Proficiency in using project management tools, particularly the Jira platform, for project intake and tracking.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and prioritize multiple project requests based on strategic objectives and resource constraints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in documenting project requirements and decisions.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline the project intake process.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations and terminology is preferred but not required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Three to five yeas of experience
