ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process student account payments, post to account and assist with weekly deposits as needed.
  • Cash collections.
  • Ensure proper processing of student transcript requests.
  • Prepare invoices for current and former students as needed.
  • Process and verify deliveries from vendors. 
  • Assist students with questions related to their accounts, Bank Mobile and Touchnet.
  • Monitor campus supplies, paper usage, and classroom/copier maintenance.
  • Stamp mail using postage machine and monitor postage account funds.
  • Assist with scheduling maintenance work as needed.
  • Maintain working cash for the campus.
  • Update site codes as needed and add fees to student accounts.
  • Process purchase order requisitions and update related spreadsheets.
  • Assist in preparing student accounts for collections.
  • Prepare correspondence to current and former students. 
  • Assist with monthly p-card reconciliations.
  • Review and process campus Expense Reports.
  • Assist with processing PO’s.
  • Assist with yearly budget process, as needed.
  • Develop a working knowledge of all student financial aid programs administered by the Financial Aid Office.
  • Work well with other departments to achieve enrollment and retention goals.
  • Ensure timely delivery of assistance and services given to students.
  • Perform duties in a manner that is congruent with the College’s vision, standards and ethics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your Manager.

 

COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an Accounting Major is preferred
  • Detail oriented, strong initiative, superior customer service skills.
  • Skills in prioritizing, organizing and problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and work with diverse groups.
  • Must thrive on working in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment.
  • Must possess a drive for excellence.
