About the role
Position Objective:CICONIX, a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) specializing in military and Veterans healthcare programs, is looking for a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to support the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) in Augusta, MEJob Description:
- Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care across pre-op, operative, and post-op care stages.
- Appropriately documenting all care per Maine VAHCS policy.
- Uphold the highest standards of care, meeting or exceeding nationally recognized guidelines set by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).
- Report to the facility within 30 minutes when on-call for airway emergencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience completing similar work is required.
- Active, unrestricted license (RN/CRNA) to practice medicine in Maine.
- Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent required.
- Current DEA Certificate/Registration required.
