Technical /Operational Lead - Molecular, Micro, Immunology - Hybrid

We are seeking an Technical /Operational Lead - Molecular, Micro, Immunology to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Valencia, CA in a hybrid role.

In this role, you will serve as a technical leader overseeing complex harmonization projects and the implementation of new initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing technical leadership to lab staff and cross-functionally in your area of expertise.
• Leading and developing the execution of local and global laboratory technical support across a variety of specialty areas.
• Developing and leading the global laboratory quality program and database.
• Overseeing complex projects and operational harmonization, often on a global scale.
• Driving new initiatives globally and cross-functionally.
• Serving as a subject matter expert for new platforms, assay, and kit selection and driving implementation.
• Developing, leading, and acting as a contact person on all aspects and phases of proficiency testing and accreditation programs across global labs to ensure harmonization.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 9 years of experience in a clinical, research, academic, or commercial/production laboratory environment.
• Strong understanding of the clinical trial process and overarching relation of cross-functional dependencies.
• Ability to effectively coordinate and execute multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities needed for this role:

• Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory agency standards.
• Sound knowledge of laboratory equipment, clinical laboratory assays, quality control, and validation procedures.
• Proficiency with complex laboratory calculations including averages, means, standard deviations, and various quality control metrics.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
