We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work onsite at Colorado Springs, CO. This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.

What You Will Do:

Specific tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Candidate will be responsible for learning the planning, deploying, integrating, and testing upgrades to the C2BMC network to operational sites and help where needed.

  • Candidate will be responsible for traveling to remote locations to perform network installations, perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel Maintain accurate metrics of team progress.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • The position requires an IAT Level II 8140 Compliant Certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. (with SCI eligibility)

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Must have knowledge of network design, development and testing methodologies.

  • Experience understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF.

  • Experience with network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and firewall knowledge in Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.

  • Experience and knowledge of UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs.

  • Knowledge of multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience working with Missile Defense Agency and the C2BMC Program

  • Experience with Agile Methods, with Capabilities decomposition, Feature definition and Story development.
