We value experience, but even more, the person behind it.</p><p>Together, we build the future of SAM. <br/></p><p><strong>About the role</strong><br/>As our Senior Frontend Developer at Xensam in Stockholm, you will work hands-on and become a proactive technical leader with a strong drive to solve complex problems. You’ll contribute across the entire product portfolio and support the team by providing technical guidance and stepping in wherever your expertise is needed.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br/>You will design, develop, debug, test, and enhance high-quality frontend features and integrations using JavaScript and TypeScript. Furthermore you will:</p><ul>
<li>Design and implement visually appealing, modular, and reusable UI components and libraries for end-user features.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, backend, and database developers to deliver great user experiences and ensure accessibility, and define REST API requirements for seamless integration.</li>
<li>Apply modern security best practices and OWASP guidelines across all development activities.</li>
<li>Continuously optimize frontend performance, responsiveness, and loading times.</li>
<li>Promote engineering excellence by reviewing peers’ work, providing constructive feedback, and enforcing best practices.</li>
<li>Ensure best practices across development, including CI/CD pipelines, code structure, testing strategies, and maintain high standards for code quality and performance.</li>
<li>Support team growth by sharing knowledge, maintaining clear documentation, and mentor junior developers. </li>
<li>Guide the technical execution of projects, ensuring alignment with product goals, scalability requirements, and timely delivery.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and plan major features, break down large projects into clear, actionable tasks, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.</li>
<li>Take ownership of the technical direction for frontend development, drive architectural decisions, and act as the go-to person for technical guidance during planning, estimation, and reviews.</li>
</ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in frontend development, including debugging, testing, and optimizing modern web applications.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep experience in React and state management libraries such as MobX.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of frontend architecture, asynchronous programming patterns, and REST API integration.</li>
<li>Proficient in Git or similar version control systems, and experienced with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of secure coding, authentication protocols (OIDC, JWT), and error handling.</li>
<li>Good understanding of relational databases and frontend-backend interaction.</li>
<li>Familiar with Agile methodologies and working in Agile/Scrum teams.</li>
<li>Experience mentoring, reviewing code, and upholding high standards.</li>
<li>Comfortable leading technical discussions, architectural decisions, and owning frontend initiatives.</li>
<li>Good communication skills and a strong proficiency in written and spoken English.</li>
<li>Preferably a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.</li>
