Summary:
The Director of Product Management for EWS is responsible for the end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management of all portfolio elements within the Education and Workforce Solutions Portfolio. This entails taking the vision and strategy developed by the EWS Leadership Team and, through providing leadership and direction over several cross-functional product teams, developing a portfolio of operationally viable and profitable products. This individual will provide a critical link between the organization's strategy and its execution. This individual will be ultimately responsible for the success of all products within the portfolio. They will work in partnership with members of Growth and Innovations, Project Management, Operations, and the Clinical Practices to achieve these goals. This individual will be responsible for managing the team of Product Managers within the EWS Organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to strategically drive and direct business objectives
- Drive products from conceptualization to operationally viable solutions
- Provide strategic oversight and direction to the Product Management Team
- Oversee the development and implementation of the EWS portfolio roadmap.
- Identify opportunities for business improvement through process optimization
- Ensure there is alignment between the strategy of the EWS Team and its ability to execute
- Identification, measurement, and analysis of key metrics used to gauge program benefits
- Provide transparency to product status through effective product governance
- Demonstrate leadership excellence and drive a high-performance culture
- Identify resource requirements by monitoring the portfolio roadmap and resource allocation to projects
- Drive and manage initiatives required for competency management and performance development of direct reports
- Establish and foster relationships that lead to collaboration with all stakeholders and the most effective, high-quality deliverables to our customers
- Contribute to achieving the vision, mission, and values of Siemens
- Enforce and drive compliance to ensure adherence to Siemens Healthcare CX USA and CS policies and procedures
Success Measurements
- Understanding of the healthcare education marketplace, preferably relative to diagnostic imaging and therapy.
- Strategic business planning experience.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills in motivating teams for high performance and the ability to manage projects and programs.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and ability to present.
- Demonstrated ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within a project team.
- Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities.
- Ability to think strategically and influence decisions with key business leaders and program stakeholders
- Must be results-driven, action-oriented, and passionate about making a positive customer impact while balancing business needs
Education / Knowledge / Experience
- BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree as applicable to the role.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, product lifecycle management, or similar experience
- Direct managerial experience required
- Required Travel 30%
