About the role

Partner Marketing Lead - Europe

Reporting to: Senior Partner Marketing Manager

Location: Stockholm, Sweden (hybrid working options available)

We’ve been pioneering embedded finance since 2007 and over the years, we’ve worked in partnership with banks, SaaS providers, payment processors, checkout providers, and even the UK government – providing all they need to offer easy and frictionless revenue-based finance solutions to their SME customers through our API-powered funding platform.

We are in a very exciting period of growth, both within the UK and internationally, with teams based in London, Nottingham, USA and Scandinavia. As we continue to grow we are looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join us to reshape business finance.

We are proud to have been included in The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 as one of the 100 fastest growing FinTechs in the UK for two years running.

Who we are

As a marketing team, our job is to deliver best in class communications and frictionless customer journeys. We think creatively about how to have valuable conversations with our customers and make sure they understand our products. There are currently five of us in the team split across London and the US, but with exciting growth plans we are looking for a driven Partner Marketing Manager to join us in Stockholm.

You’ll join a dynamic, fast paced innovative team, made up of enthusiastic and experienced marketers. You’ll help us drive leads and revenue for the business through campaigns to prospects and customers.

Who are you

The successful candidate will need the spirit of entrepreneurship, a desire to work in an exciting face-paced company, and ambitions to drive our partner marketing forwards using a multi-marketing channels and practices approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead partner marketing for the Nordics and Central and Eastern Europe. Work with existing partners to plan effective, customer-centric campaigns using multiple channels where possible.
  • Manage monthly campaigns to deliver new customer acquisition. The campaign process involves copy and creative development, determining the segmentation approach, submitting a data brief and partner collaboration for timely campaigns.
  • Build excellent relationships with partners. Our partners are big brands in the financial services and fintech space and our collaboration leads to great customer experiences.
  • Foster a test and learn approach allowing for continuous optimisation.
  • Build campaign plans with a data-driven approach, whether it be segmentation, testing, or working with the insights team to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Encourage partners to give access to new channels and touchpoints where relevant to ensure maximum campaign results.
  • Drive channel diversification, particularly digital channels (targeted social, display etc.).
  • Think outside the box and always be striving for more whether it be suggesting a process improvement, pushing the boundaries with copy and creative or coming up with a new way to use our data. We like big thinkers!
  • Report on campaign performance. Monitor results and use the data to make informed decisions on future campaigns and tests.
  • Be the customer champion. Care deeply about how our communications impact our customers. Are they clear? Are they engaging? Have we added value?
  • Build excellent relationships with internal stakeholders such as sales, analytics and finance. You’ll also need to work with external suppliers such as agencies and printers.
  • Be involved in commercial conversations and understand how marketing impacts the sales funnel so that you can drive improvements or test new ideas.
  • Have an eye for detail.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to ensure marketing supports monthly business targets.

We think you need

  • Experience of direct marketing across a variety of channels including both offline and online channels.
  • Swedish and English speaking essential
  • Experience of working with partners will be highly beneficial.
  • Start-up experience useful
  • B2C or B2B experience
  • Multi-country experience useful
  • Enthusiasm for marketing, determination and willingness to learn and get stuck in are key.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work on multiple campaigns at the same time – this is a fast-paced environment and organisation will be key to success.
  • A drive to get things done. As a business we have a lot of opportunities. You’ll do well in this role if you grab some of them.
