You'd be working autonomously out on the road, interacting with others and helping deliver for Australians during our busiest time of the year. </span></p><p><span>We're now hiring for our seasonal period. Seasonal team members generally commence across October and November and depending on parcel volume, assisting us to deliver until around Christmas. </span></p><p><br/></p><p><span><strong>You’ll be paid : </strong></span></p><ul><li>Seasonal Van Drivers (21 years or older) are paid $34.45 per hour, including casual loading, plus 12% superannuation</li><li>Junior rates apply to applicants under 21 years old</li><li>Some roles may also attract penalty rates for overtime, evening, and weekend work<br/><br/></li></ul><p><span>You’ll also have access to ‘Post Perks’ – a benefits platform where you’ll have access to 100s of discounts and offers on heaps of your favourite brands for groceries, fashion, tech, travel and everything in between. </span></p><p><br/></p><p><span><strong>You’ll be: </strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Required to drop off and pick up mail and parcel items to and from our customers </span></li><li><span>Sometimes required to pick up mail from Street Posting Boxes, Corporate Offices, Licensed Post Offices and Delivery Centres </span></li><li><span>Unloading mail articles from vans and manually sorting them into small or large letters and parcels including express posts </span></li><li><span>Completing your own daily vehicle safety check </span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span><strong>About you: </strong></span></p><ul><li><span>You hold a full Australian driver’s licence or in the final year of your probationary licence </span></li><li><span>You’ll successfully pass our mandatory and practical driving assessment </span></li><li><span>You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly </span></li><li><span>You'll need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less<br/> </span></li></ul><p><span><strong>We’re delivering together <br/></strong> <br/> At Australia Post, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate, live and gather as employees. <br/> <br/>We believe our business should reflect the diverse communities we operate in and are proud to be an inclusive workplace for people from all walks of life.
