The Opportunity
To support on the development of the Regional Sales and Operations Planning process for a new Make Up brand. Ensuring that the total forecast for all the products is available on time with enough accuracy to maximize service level, optimized inventory levels and optimal cost. To follow the performance of the launch in 5 markets and to detect risks and opportunities vs the budget. To provide inputs to the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning process.
Additionally, the role may involve utilizing business analytics to analyze data and provide insights that drive strategic decision-making related to Marketing and Commercial revenue growth opportunities and overall business performance within the EMEA region.
What you'll get to do
Support the Regional Demand Planning Manager on overseeing regional sales and operations planning for a new Makeup brand, utilizing business analytics to identify and recommend Commercial and Marketing Growth Opportunities:
- Coordinating and dimensioning the launches and promotional items forecasting.
- Leading the regular goods sales forecast.
- Detecting main deviations in the sales forecast vs the budget and to highlight risk and opportunities.
- Providing inputs for the Strategic Sales and Operation Planning Process.
- Creation and sharing business KPI’s: Service level, Forecast accuracy, Sell in / Sell Out reports, Sales forecast vs Budget, etc...
- Ensuring communication and launch feedback performance of the 5 Local Demand Planners in those markets launched. Understanding launch performance at local level and assessing impact at regional level.
- Follow up of possible leftovers and Marketing and Commercial Teams coordination to minimize obsoletes.
- Implementing Operations meetings and collaboration processes between PUIG and main regional customers.
- Leveraging Business Analytics and Revenue Growth Management capabilities to analyze data and provide recommendations on identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to enhance business efficiency (pricing, trade terms analytics) and maximize revenue growth withing the region.
- Utilizing expertise in Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
- Collaborating with revenue management teams, commercial, trade marketing or finance controlling teams to optimize revenue and profitability.
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a Demand Planner in the Makeup industry or similar ones (high number of SKUs, strong seasonality, strong dependency on merchandising, high number of launches and discontinuations, high risk of inventory losses), with demonstrated Revenue Growth Management (RGM) capabilities and experience in revenue management or commercial finance controlling roles.
- Education: Graduate in Engineering, Administration or similar, Master in Supply Chain is a plus
- Languages: Fluent English and Spanish are required
- Competencies: Drive for results, high analytical profile, holistic vision, stakeholder management and communication, ability to operate in matrixial organizations, organized and used to deliver OTIF.
- Specific Knowledge required: Proficient in PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office software. Familiarity with SAP, JDA, APO, or similar planning tools is mandatory.
