This is a hybrid position based in Century City, CA. Candidates must be based in Southern California and available to be on site and travel as needed.
The pay range for this role is $86,031-$98,936 annually.

Summary
As a Clinical Director, you are responsible for administering, directing and managing the Suicide Prevention Counseling Center program, including client care and treatment program planning; ensuring compliance with Agency program standards, contracts, policies, procedures and guidelines.
Primary Duties
Program Leadership
- Defines the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Counseling Center, under the direction of Senior Director of Crisis Care.
- Develops policies and procedures for intake, assessment, treatment planning, documentation, discharge planning, and maintenance of a therapeutic environment.
- Develops realistic and measurable objectives for one or more programs.
- Provides leadership to program staff ensuring that the client services meet or exceed contractual, grant and/or Division performance goals; ensures delivery of services in accordance with contracted guidelines and Didi Hirsch philosophies.
- Forms a highly effective team to accomplish the program’s short and long term goals.
Management Duties
- Performs managerial duties to include interviewing applicants for employment; assigning and reviewing progress of assignments; conducting performance appraisals; recommending salary increases; and developing higher levels of expertise in staff members by encouraging further education, participation in seminars and providing learning opportunities within program mental health and/or substance use services.
- Ensures that established personnel policies are followed.
- Identifies staff training needs and ensures development and implementation of programs that address needs; participates in delivering training sessions to meet the needs of staff related to clinical/program needs. Ensures that all employees receive prescribed orientation and in-services.
- Coaches staff in the development of their work plans, their assigned duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Supervises all assigned staff to ensure high quality client care.
- Ensures that all program staff complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures and/or other reporting data in a timely and high quality fashion.
- Attends, participates, leads and/or facilitates routinely scheduled meetings as requested or required for the program, division, or Agency.
- Interfaces with related community agencies, attends meetings as scheduled and/or needed to include: the Department of Mental Health and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act related issues.
- Develops and maintains referral relationships. Ensures that effective procedures are established and followed that facilitate good relationships with referral sources around the referral, admission, treatment and discharge process.
Program Quality, Compliance and Reporting
- Measures progress against plans and stated goals as it applies to program documentation.
- Reviews chart documentation and status reports prepared by program staff to ensure all legal, contractual, and revenue-generating reports meet or exceed required Agency and applicable regulatory agencies standards.
- Ensures all administrative documentation is accurate and submitted within the established timeframe; gathers and analyzes information and prepares routine reports including those used to assess performance.
