JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern is actively seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, Hospital Facilities Construction to join our Facilities Management Planning/Renovations team. We're looking for someone with a strong background in project management for construction of hospital and/or academic research facilities.

As Senior Project Manager of Hospital Facilities Construction, you will manage complex capital facility projects greater than $10 million. Responsible for overall project management to include budgets, change orders, schedule, contractor GMP's and quality control in compliance with industry and institutional standards. Manages the design and construction teams on the successful completion and occupancy of campus construction. Reviews hospital facilities, plans and executes work required by the hospital. Makes recommendations for capital replacements. Addresses and manages critical issues impacting project quality and safety.

Work Location: Dallas Campus; onsite 100% of time, may or may not require travel to and from other UTSW facilities throughout DFW metro area.

Shift Requirement: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required

  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in related field. 
    • Extensive experience may be used in lieu of degree. 
       
  • Experience
    • 8 years project management experience or equivalent experience. 
    • Prior construction project management experience. 
    • Advanced degree may be used in lieu of years of experience. 
       

Preferred

  • Experience
    • Design and Construction experience with academic healthcare and/or research facilities and/or project management/construction management experience with a focus in healthcare, academi
