SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The current pay is $23hr.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Operator is responsible for repackaging different chemicals, mixing batches of keeping their assigned areas clean and any other tasks as assigned. Candidate will be required to operate a forklift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Production Operator is responsible for all activities in the repack, liquid, and powder room. These duties include but are not limited to:

• Blending wet and dry chemicals, following SOPs, and packaging products.
• Supervising blending personnel, on-the-job training of personnel.
• Taking product samples and ensuring the quality of products being made and packaged.
• Ensuring that employees are working safely in the area.
• Communicating with supervisor to ensure documentation of process improvements.
• Helping to control inventory. Ensuring accurate posting of inventory transfers. Facilitating inventory cycle counting.
• Communicating maintenance needs to the supervisor and facilitating the repairs of equipment
• Working with supervisor to ensure that all demand is fulfilled.
• Cross-training in all other departments.
• Repacking chemicals from totes/drums into pails and cases
• Printing labels
• Communicating with supervisor to ensure documentation of process improvements.
• Helping to control inventory by ensuring accurate posting of batches and assisting with inventory cycle counting.
• Communicating maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Operating a forklift.
• Correctly and safely selecting materials and ingredients for formulation.
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions to produce products..
