Your Role:

The Senior Project Specialist is responsible for the site planning and implementation of Baxter’s product line at medical and healthcare facilities throughout a dedicated region. The surgical portfolio of products consists of surgical and examination lights, equipment management systems (booms), video integration, and overhead patient lifts.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead execution of product implementation projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly completion with high customer satisfaction.

• Attend coordination meetings as needed to ensure site readiness progresses appropriately.

• Define site-specific installation requirements and collaborate with internal resources to determine production lead times.

• Perform post-install quality review ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Support outside sales with product specifications and technical support.

• Maintain pre-installation and rough-in information for 3rd party contractors.

• Identify, communicate, and resolve issues through customer-focused solutions.

• Serve as a thought leader making valuable contributions and value related to project management, system implementations, and hospital/clinical standard processes.

• Communicate project status and action plans for concurrent projects to all partners.

• Document or add to implementation standards, processes, and best practices based on experiences.

• Identify out-of-scope opportunities during the execution of implementation projects and pursue them with appropriate contacts.

• Assist in measuring customer satisfaction during and after installations.

• Provide internally focused product development recommendations based on customer input received.

• Collaborate with internal functional and technical groups/resources required to achieve job objectives.

• Meet or exceed project metrics, including pre-install planning, risks/potential issues and risk mitigation strategies, project delivery, and closeout

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree required (engineering focus preferred).

• 5 years of project management experience (handling capital equipment projects preferred), with a focus on leading scope and deliverables across multiple, concurrent projects.

• Proven understanding of construction.

• Strong leadership skills, demonstrated through project execution and interactions with internal and customer partners at all levels.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build consensus and influence others across multiple internal and customer organizations.

• Superior organizational skills to lead multiple projects and shift priorities efficiently and effectively.

• Proactive problem-solving abilities, identifying potential pitfalls, and developing strategies to mitigate or avoid setbacks.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 - $121,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
