About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our Operations team on a full-time, hourly basis. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring a seamless kitchen operation. This is an exciting opportunity for culinary enthusiasts who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food preparation stations are set up and stocked appropriately before service.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain consistency with the restaurant’s standards.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Contribute to menu development by bringing creative ideas and feedback to the team when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a restaurant setting.
- Proficient in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, maintaining professionalism and positive communication.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on scheduling needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English.
