Job Description:
Collecting, transporting, and processing of soiled, healthcare linen and responsible for the distribution of clean linen. Tasks also include but are not limited to: collecting and sorting all soiled linen from designated collection areas, weighing linen prior to washing, using correct washer formulas, keeping work area clean, loading and unloading washers and dryers, using correct dryer settings, folding dry linen in a neat manner, stocking carts, organizing two cart delivery system, delivering correct par levels to each unit, cleaning dryer vents daily, and utilizing proper forms for recording linen usage.
