Job Overview:
The Sr. M365 Engineer’s role is to participate in the overall engineering, maturation, management, and support of the company’s M365 infrastructure. This position is a seasoned member of the overall Digital Office team and will support our on-premises Exchange, Exchange Online, MS Teams Online, and Microsoft 365 core services. To support this requirement, the role requires strong, hands-on experience Implementing and supporting the relevant messaging, collaboration, and core M365 technologies.
Responsibilities:
Participate in engineering reviews and initiatives for in-scope technologies, including but not limited to:
On-premise Exchange
Exchange Online
Microsoft Teams
OneDrive for Business
Microsoft Viva
Provide Tier 3 support for issues related to Messaging, Collaboration, and M365 offerings
Review, recommend, schedule, and assist with deployment of software patches and upgrades for on-premises systems
Perform BAU activities within the environment as necessary
Assist in creating automation workflows for common/standard requests and integrating with ServiceNow
Provide Critical Incident support and participate in on-call rotation

Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Enterprise level Exchange messaging environments
5+ years of experience deploying, managing and supporting the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Extensive experience creating and modifying PowerShell scripts for AD, Entra, Exchange Online, MS Teams, and GraphAPI for overall M365 management
Degree in a related field or equivalent IT work experience (5+ years)
Preferences:
Relevant, current technical certifications encouraged
Strong working knowledge of change control practices
Hands-on experience working in complex infrastructure environments in a highly regulated industry
