NurseCore, a leading national provider of home care and staffing services, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Arlington. This is a key position that will interact with management staff in our branch offices and our home office Financial Services Department to create timely and accurate financial statements and projects.

This is a key position that will interact with management staff in our branch offices and our home office Financial Services Department to create timely and accurate financial statements and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Journal Entries
- Reconcile Balance Sheet and Income Statement Accounts
- Monitor and assist with banking processes
- Assist with Budget preparation and audits
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Collaborate with external auditors
- Analyze financial reports and operations to assist branch offices and the Financial Services team
Schedule:
- This is a full-time, in office position, Monday through Friday
- Some evenings and weekends may occasionally be required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
- CPA a plus
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in full-cycle accounting, preferably in healthcare or a multi-unit environment
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory / management experience
- Proficient in Accounting Software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, and sometimes stressful, environment
