The Antiseptics business area at Mölnlycke is focused on eliminating bacteria that cause healthcare-acquired infections.

 

As we expand our team, we seek a motivated Sales Associate to contribute to our growth and success.  Based out of St. Louis, Kansas City, or Dallas, this is an entry-level position where you’ll undergo approximately two (2) months of onboarding and field sales training, followed by 18-22 months of hands-on experience alongside experienced sales reps in a multistate region. Upon acquiring sufficient training and exposure, the Sales Associate will be well-prepared to transition into a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) role or progress to the next level within the organization! Relocation within the US may be required for promotion.

 

Role Overview:

 

  • Cultivating new and existing customer relationships, providing them with insights into product features, distinctions, and optimal utilization.
  • While working to support the Territory Sales reps, you’ll serve as the face of the Molnlycke during sales calls and actively contribute to achieving sales goals set by the Regional Sales Team.
  • Performing administrative duties such as preparing reports, entering data into Salesforce.com, and diligently following up on orders.
  • Attending sales meetings and trade shows to showcase our products and stay updated on industry trends. Assist in creating materials for sales meetings and presentations.
  • Keeping abreast of market developments by monitoring competitor activities, staying informed through trade magazines and associations, and collecting valuable customer feedback.
  • Introduce new products and expand business with existing customers by presenting detailed product information, highlighting features, and emphasizing product distinctions.
  • Collaborate with distributor management and sales representatives to synchronize sales and marketing initiatives, enhance business opportunities, and improve customer service.
  • Resolve customer issues by liaising with the Customer Service Department, ensuring prompt identification and resolution.
  • Undertake projects such as temporary relocation to open territories to cover vacancies, job shadowing senior sales professionals, and conducting in-services at customer locations to train clinicians.

 

 

Work-Life Balance

  • 75% Overnight travel is expected
  • Candidates should reside in St Louis, Kansas City or Dallas-Fort Worth.
  • Should be open to possible relocation within US in 20-24 months

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field from an accredited college and/or university required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills strongly preferred
  • Customer Service, Sales and/or Marketing Experience preferred, but not required.  
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., sit, stand, walk for long distances, and stoop
  • Valid driver’s license & clean driving record that permits the driving of company-owned vehicles
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain hospital-required credentialing which may include Covid-19 vaccinations
  • Must be willing to relocate within the US for a TSM role
