Position Summary:
This role is both strategic and tactical and will be responsible to grow demand for NeoGenomics data solutions by understanding market, capturing voice of customer, staying abreast on industry movement and data trends and aggregating competitive intelligence on other data aggregators and channel partners to help competitively position NeoGenomics data solutions with biopharma and AI customers.
Role will work closely with leadership to develop messaging and marketing collateral to support sales and is responsible for helping to drive profitable revenue growth for Informatics. The individual will actively drive the marketing and promotions related to Informatics conference and trade show strategy, and execution of this strategy, through a strong partnership with the Global Marketing team. They will also collaborate with global to update and maintain all informatics marketing materials including but not limited to: presentation decks, brochures, white papers, blogs, newsletters, etc.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with sales leadership and global marketing to craft and implement focused sales campaigns throughout the year including campaign development and execution
- Responsible to develop annual marketing plans, online resources, sales brochures, product technical sheets, product presentations, social networking content, advertising, and supporting data sales training
- Lead message development, launch plans and content creation and maintenance as well as generate competitive comparisons by collecting competitive information and analyses of competitive data generators (labs) and data aggregators.
- Promote awareness, thought leadership and reputation through coordination and planning of abstracts/ papers/ studies to support demand generation.
- Monitoring performance metrics for demand generation, diagnosing areas for improvement, developing, and implementing recommendations. Includes preparing reoccurring reports: forecasts, marketing meetings and customer trend analysis.
- Support sales and engagement teams with client interactions, development and formatting of pitch decks messaging and positioning (refresh and update quarterly)
- Participate in sales meetings, seminars, industry conferences, and tradeshows
- Drive inbound lead and meeting generation and facilitation of leads integration into SFDC.
- Support in the capture and development of leads that result in meetings with sales
- Drive the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral materials
- Build NeoGenomics awareness and demand among current and new customers
- Optimize the value of data offerings through key messaging and competitive positioning to drive value and support growth in our existing and new partnerships
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or scientific field required; Master’s degree or PhD preferred
- 7+ years of experience in a professional sales and/or marketing capacity working in healthcare, ideally Oncology
