Job Description
The Machine Maintenance and Repairman will machine, repair and safely clean the various maintenance parts for current and future production They will ensure the modifications and repairs carried out comply with the measures specified in the plans and diagrams of each of the repaired parts.
The Machine Maintenance and Repairman should have:
- Experience troubleshooting and performing machine repairs
- Experience with precision measuring devices, such as calipers, micrometers and digital gauges
- Experience using hand tools, such as ratchets, wrenches, screwdrivers and drill press
Maintenance and Repairman will:
- Inspect machines and bottle handling equipment
- Rebuild, repair, recondition and install all machine parts and mechanisms used in the various processes
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 5 years maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Journeyman cardholder (Mechanical) is preferred
- Must have basic PC literacy (Word, Outlook, basic data entry)
- Must be able to pass a mechanical and electrical skills test in order to be considered
- Must be able to work a rotating shift, which includes weekends and holidays
- Experience with bench repair and welding is a plus
