Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Product Marketing Manager to orchestrate and execute the product marketing strategy for Govini’s Ark.ai. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Product Marketing Manager intimately understands our customers, how our software delivers differentiated value to them, and how to best support Business Development and Customer teams to help bring Ark.ai to more of the people who need it.
As an in-house expert on our product and the competitive landscape, you will collaborate strategically with teams across the organization to strengthen our positioning and grow our presence in the market.
This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA.This role may require up to 10% travel

Scope of Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary owner of our product positioning and messaging for Ark.ai in alignment with product roadmaps.
• Work with product and customer teams to establish and define customer segments and personas based on user characteristics and platform usage behavior
• Be an in-house expert on competitive landscape and differentiationPartner closely with sales, CX, and marketing to create compelling messaging and collateral that resonates with our personas across channels — website, decks, emails, etc. 
• Plan and execute product and feature launches; coordinate with product, strategy, and sales team members on go-to-market activities
• Represent the voice of the customer, turning the feedback and usage data received into actionable insights to drive feature adoption
• Derive market insights from analysts, media, customers, prospects, sales, and primary research to deliver input to product management and development teams
• As a power user, collaborate with product and customer teams to design, implement, test, and iterate on in-platform customer journey maps, adoption, and conversion paths
• Work with product and customer teams to identify and validate relevant metrics and data to evaluate growth and retention strategies

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required

Required Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, IT, Journalism, Business Administration, or equivalent
• 5+ years of work experience in a product marketing role within a software product organization
• Track record of successful collaboration with Product Management, Sales, and engineering teams
• Proven experience in establishing software product positioning 
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts and positioning into captivating messaging for all audiences
• Excellent written and oral communication skills that articulate product value to target audiences
• Strong attention to detail, effective time management, and organizational skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality results on deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively with little supervision
• Experience implementing and using customer communications and tracking platforms and tools like Intercom, Zendesk, Appcues, and Mixpanel

Desired Skills:
• Current possession of a U.S. security clearance, or the ability to obtain one with our sponsorship
• Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other entrepreneurial environment
• Knowledge of or experience in the national security, intelligence, or defense space
• Strong technical understanding of cutting-edge data science and machine learning capabilities
