Position Overview:

Expo Home Improvement is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Business Analyst to support our Production team. This role is critical to driving operational excellence by analyzing workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, and managing projects that enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, process improvement, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to implement scalable solutions that drive success.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and performance metrics to track production performance and KPIs.
• Process Improvement: Work closely with the Production team to streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Forecasting and Planning: Provide data-driven insights to support resource planning, production scheduling, and project timelines.
• Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement technology solutions that improve production operations and reporting.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of production processes, recommend improvements, and ensure standard operating procedures are followed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments, including Sales, Customer Service, and Procurement, to ensure alignment on production goals and schedules.
• Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives and track progress toward efficiency and cost-saving targets.

Requirements

 Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization and reporting platforms.
• Experience in process optimization, operations management, or production environments.
• Familiarity with project management software and methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Knowledge of the home improvement or remodeling industry is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
