About the Role
The Chemical Delivery Technician is responsible for the overall chemical delivery and application. This includes delivery and set up of chemicals at customer locations, maintaining proper chemical application, maintaining chemical delivery systems, troubleshooting chemical issues. This role is also the catalyst to maintaining cost control in each account that Mark VII sells chemicals, services, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex chemical, mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues, including PLC controllers.
- Technical Support & Training: Provide expert technical assistance to customers and distributors. Conduct on-site training for customer personnel on equipment use, operation, and maintenance.
- Customer & Team Communication: Effectively interface with customers and company personnel to resolve complaints and ensure superior service. Actively participate in problem-solving processes and keep abreast of new industry developments to improve performance.
- Installation & System Management: Assist in the installation of new car wash equipment, perform necessary repairs, and execute equipment modifications or updates as required.
- Safety & Logistics: Operate a company vehicle in a safe and professional manner, following all local laws and regulations. Maintain all company-owned tools, equipment, and materials in proper working condition.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A, B, C with a Haz-Mat endorsement required
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are a must.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents and follow simple instructions
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
