Job Description
- As a part of our team, you analyze requirements for system solutions in the field of sector coupling in buildings, encompassing mobility, grids, HVAC and photovoltaics.
- You shape future Home Comfort systems by defining relevant use cases and engineering the corresponding interfaces.
- Furthermore, you act as the interface between functional development and requirement analysis/product management.
- You work out new architecture concepts, such as placing the right feature (e.g., pv surplus charging) in the right system-module (e.g., gateway, control electronics, cloud, etc.).
- As System Architect you ensure that different development groups are working on the same interface and feature.
- Last but not least, you participate in Smart Grid / HVAC / Mobility working groups and standards, identifying relevant input for system requirements in reference to energy management.
Qualifications
- Education: in the field of Engineering, Science or Software Development
- Experience and Knowledge: experience in requirement engineering (e.g. Jira), especially in system context; familiar with electrical systems in buildings (e.g. communication standards) as well as experience in energy topics like energy management, photovoltaics, wallboxes and HVAC; project management experience; software development skills/knowledge is beneficial
- Personality: hands-on-mentality combined with good prioritization skills
- Working Practice: structured, analytical, responsible, decisive, with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset
- Languages: excellent written and spoken English and German skills
